Owner and founder of Gunsmith Canada Inc., Mr. Faouzi Younes is also its master gunsmith. This hardly came as a surprise to his family and friends as his passion for firearms and hunting began at a very young age. A lover of nature, Mr. Younes has been hunting for over 20 years but his talent truly shines in trapping. Both large and small, he excels at capturing all sorts of prey.

In 2010, he successfully graduated from the only Canadian gunsmithing school in Maniwaki, QC. Throughout his schooling, his attention de detail and eagerness to share with his classmates, made quite the impression on the staff. Upon graduation, he was offered a position at the school as both teacher and director of the gunsmithing program. His perseverance, passion, and experience allowed him to hold the career until the program closed in 2015.

Not able to come to terms with the closing of the only place he could teach and practice the art. The idea of opening a private school started to form in mind.

Having accumulated over 20 years of experience as a hunter, over 5 years of experience as a professional gunsmith and over 10 years of experience in sales and management, Faouzi Younes founded GUNSMITH CANADA INC.. His goal was to keep this traditional trade alive by providing new generations of gunsmiths with professional and experienced service. It quickly became home to many firearm enthusiasts and gunsmithing hopefuls.
